Sarojini Naidu

A renowned freedom fighter sarijini Naidu was born in Hyderabad in a hindu brahmin family. She has many firsts to her credit including-the first indian woman to become the president of the indian National congress and the first woman to become the governor of an indian state. One of the great orators of her time she was also a distinguished poet and was famously known as ‘Bharatiya Kokils’.
